Once a nunnery and considerably extended in Victorian times, The Grange offers elegant accommodation with spacious rooms.   Just one and a half miles from the sea at Ventnor and three miles from the picturesque village of Godshill, the Grange is situated in the village of Wroxall.

In an ideal position for those who wish to tour the Island, explore the numerous coastal and rural walks, or simply relax.  The local pub, which has a very good restaurant, is within easy walking distance, as are the lovely walks on the Downs and disused railway.

All bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities.  There is a drawing room available for guests with television and radio.

Bedrooms are named after local points of interest.  There are two bedrooms upstairs:

"Appuldurcombe" is so named as it has splendid views across the valley to Appuldurcombe House.  This room has a king-sized four-poster bed and a  large en suite bathroom.

"The Downs" is a lovely sunny room with views of the Downs and the garden and is twin-bedded  with en suite shower/bathroom.

"The Sanctuary" is on the ground floor - named after the well known Donkey Sanctuary in the village.  This is a large double/twin-bedded room with French windows and is suitable for the occasional well-behaved dog.  There is a private shower and loo adjacent.

The Grange is a non-smoking Bed & Breakfast and is not suitable for children under 12.

Tariff : £29 - £35 per person per night based on two people per room until Easter 2009.
