Appuldurcombe House - this is a shell of a large 18th Century Baroque country house of the Worsley family with gardens by Capability Brown. There is also the Appuldurcombe Owl & Falconry Centre.

The Donkey Sanctuary. This was established in 1987 to provide any donkey in distress a safe and permanent home. Admission and parking are free, though donations are welcomed.
